Helping Hand

I spent most of today helping organise Christmas gifts for local children who might not get anything at all. The Pennypit Trust are a local charity who work with vulnerable families in our school community. Families get a food bag and all the ingredients for a Christmas dinner as well as gifts for the children. There were over 100 referrals in our cluster this year alone as well as from Tranent. Cash for Kids donated the toys. The need is so much greater this year.
