Fungi

Today has been the shortest day; actually there was very little light at all, very murky and dreich.  But I suppose that is quite usual in Scotland, and indeed the UK, at this time of year.  

The government has announced some more restrictions due to the covid variant, and has cancelled the Edinburgh Hogmanay bash.  Christmas it appears can go ahead, but restrictions on large numbers. No surprises there.

I was surprised at the good condition of this fungi at this time of year....
