Narrow escape

I was in the upstairs family room this afternoon with the doors wide open to cool the air. Fortunately when I left I closed the doors, as soon after, I heard these rascals running around on the roof. When I went upstairs they were both staring at me through the door. I was thankful I'd closed it! It's going to be a problem on hot days as we need to keep the doors open.
They had a wonderful rough and tumble before running off. My spekboom in the container is slowly being stripped as they enjoy eating the juicy leaves.
The longest day here today....summer has hardly started.
