Not something you see every day!

Unlike yesterday today was bleak and wintery again, and somewhat devoid of good photographic opportunities.
With this in mind I decided to fall back on one of my reserve subjects and have blipped a picture of my eldest grandson Ethan's Gold Blue Peter badge.
Ethan was awarded this badge for saving his little sister Willow's life by donating his bone marrow to her when he was just over 5 and she was two.
Willow has Hurler's syndrome and a bone marrow transplant was her only hope. Luckily, Ethan was an excellent match, and the rest his history.
The only downside was the fact that he couldn't be presented with the badge by the Blue Peter presenters as is usual because the whole family were in house isolation at the time!!!!
