So tonight we should have been sitting on the beach …. Drinking blue Lagoons, or iced Baileys, or brandy, enjoying the late evening heat.

Instead, we decided not to risk Covid and stayed home instead.

To Make up for our loss Santa stopped by tonight with a gaggle of Elves and weirdly, security complete with walkie talkies …

That’s a bit weird eh? I did ask; ‘are you a bouncer’ and he said ‘more like a wrangler, picking up the strays’

Also discovered today that the ‘little girl’ across the road turned 18 today; Tooli and I were quite horrified we thought she was only about 14 or 15…

We took a wee gift over and a card and we’re quite horrified to hear that 132 children were off the local school (where our neighbour teaches) with Covid today.

That is only one of five schools in the area
