Spiders’ hammocks

Here I am, running a day behind yet again. This was Sunday’s shot. It was a beautiful early morning and the dew had landed on the spiders’ webs, showing how busy the little eight-legged creatures had been over night. I thought that these looked like tiny hammocks suspended from the twigs and trunk of the birch trees.
