Garden Birds

What with the fence coming down and the adjustments due to my knee surgery I have not got round to filling up the bird feeders for a week or so There have been some sparrows around that nest in the bushes in the garden but not much sign of other bird life. The two of my biggest bird feeders were in any case broken during the storm. However, yesterday afternoon I got round to filling up the remaining bird feeders and was delighted to see so many birds returning to them this morning - chaffinches, goldfinches, magpies, crows and even a greater spotted woodpecker (though unfortunately I was not able to capture an image of him).
