Lucky or unlucky

Maneki-neko, the famous japanese Lucky cat and my black candle cat have been on my desk for years. 
The black cat for some is thought of as being unlucky, but this little guy reminds me of the first cat I had when I moved to France. 
His name was Black, I know, not very original right, but he was so beautiful, with his black coat that was always so shiny. He would pose for every photo too. When I would come home every evening he would be sitting on the fence waiting for me.

I bought this Japanese cat in my favorite Japanese gardens in France: "Jardin Japonais Maulevrier" if you ever come to France,  do add it to your To Do list. It's a wondeful place.
