to taking just one quick shot through the car windscreen today, while I waited for TM to pay for our fuel. It wasn't the sort of day to go out if you didn't have to ...
But, under duress, the stress of the need to lay in supplies for 14 at the weekend ( Boris, Nicola and the Fates willing), we went to the supermarkets this afternoon - Aldi, followed by Morrisons.
We bought an excess of all the sorts of things we normally ignore, but which will express our joyousness at the impending arrival of our descendants.
Back home, looking for a way to fit this mess of a picture to the Mono Monday challenge, all I can say is bless this lone key worker at her checkout, all alone in the fog, bless all the cheerful faces in Morries, open fourteen hours a day for the non-existent Christmas rush, bless our nearest and dearest, isolating this week to keep virus-free so they can be with us soon ......
