Bubble tea

I popped down to Brick Lane this morning to see what was going on. By lunchtime it was getting busy-ish although not up to the pre Christmas levels one would expect. Several coffee shops were serving bubble tea. What’s that all about then? I have noticed this recently but what is it? It sounds weird. Have any Blippers sampled it and if so is it to be recommended?

Met sis for coffee and an exchange of Christmas presents but it seemed sad and strange not being able to give each other a hug. Had my first slice of Christmas cake with a cuppa this afternoon. Delicious.
