Cast number SIX

The dressing came off today to reveal a beautiful (in the eye of the beholder) skin graft. The surgeon was immensely pleased with her work (and me).

New cast now, in two tones of purple.
The cast is weight bearing so the physiotherapists will be round soon to get me STANDING!!

Everyone is using the “home” word more and more, perhaps even this coming Thursday

I cannot describe the emotion I feel after 9 weeks in hospitals.

But best to manage my expectations and be a bit blasé about it.
