Brazilian trumpet

We had an appointment in Ballina this morning, our nearest commercial centre, 10 km away. Tamar Street Ballina is where most of the local medical services are based. Fortunately, we were only there for computer advice. This eye-catching plant, with yellow trumpet-shaped flowers, was right by our parking place. I think it is Allamanda cathartica, commonly called Golden Trumpet. It is native to Brazil.
