Our 57th wedding Anniversary today

I can remember it well. We went to Blackpool for our honeymoon the hotel was on the front. We had washed the car as best we could of all the just married things people had written on it in lipstick. Or so we thought, till we got up next day and looked out at the car still sporting slogens.
Mum packed us a flask and a bag of food to take with us but she put everything into one bag so we had buns sausage rolls and sandwiches all stuck together an unusual combination.
Tried to find a wedding photo to put on but no idea where they are never mind I'll find them one day maybe.

It was a very misty damp sort of day so after walking the dogs this morning i did some washing cleaned up downstairs then watched carols from Westminster Abbey and an afternoon of show jumping.

The book is one i found and i hadn't read well i dont think so as the bookmark was in the second page so will give it a try i remember caitlin winning it on a tombola stall some time ago.
