Leaving for Home

Our daughter's boyfriend drove over from Sunriver yesterday; they went to a Christmas party in this area last night. They left this morning because his daughters and mom arrived in Sunriver today. He is a trooper to drive all the way here and back in less than 24 hours...he also came to pick up a Peloton Bike they bought each other for Christmas...the company wouldn't deliver it to their location in Sunriver, so they had it delivered here. It was quite an inconvenience for them, but it was important to them to get it. The delivery people assembled the bike here, so they had to cover it with a heavy-duty plastic bag (made for mattresses) and strap it down well to drive it over the snow-covered mountains. They made it safely, but it was a slow drive.

Ron had a rough night; the pain from the wound is finally kicking in full force, and the Oxecotin is causing its usual havoc with the bowels. This quick recovery from brain surgery was going way too easy so we aren't surprised.  We hope to have the pathology report tomorrow or Tuesday.

I hope you are enjoying the holiday season in meaningful ways for you.
