Our 50th!

Not Anniversary - that’s still a few years off yet - but Park Run! What with lockdowns and everything it’s taken us almost 2 years to reach this particular milestone. Judging by the look of me, the Out of Order sign behind us is highly appropriate!

Like Blipfoto, Park Run is a friendly, supportive community, totally free, run by volunteers  and open to people of all abilities and ages. We’ve had a lot of fun and kept much fitter because of it. Long may it continue.

This afternoon, Chris and I enjoyed another Yeovil win, this time in the FA Trophy, a cup competition for non-league teams. Having not played at all well and been second best to Woking for the first hour, we brought on one or two of our better players who were being given a rest and produced an excellent, exciting final half hour coming from 1-0 down to win 3-1 with 3 goals in the last 10 minutes.

Sophie’s dance school were holding a Christmas party tonight so she and Kate stayed over afterwards and we looked after Sophie while Kate met up with an old school friend.
