Waiting

We had invited the newish neighbours in for a cup of tea/glass of wine. I made sausage rolls and mince pies. They didn’t arrive - how rude! No reply to text so far?! The sausage rolls were delicious so we ate them anyway and sat in front of the fire scrolling. I chose a film to watch (as OH has the remote tonight for SPOTY) but it was disappointing.
A bit like the day really. Never mind.
