What a character

Squash, not me of course, before heading off to Roxy and Justin’s housewarming and engagement celebrations.

They have a great old house as their new home. It needs a bit of work but they have already got plans drafted, and a huge section of their garden cleared for their planned succulent garden, which is what they suggested as a gift. Ours was a Spekboom which in its own wee way helps with climate change.

Mike, the man in my blip, is a character and a half, originally from Nottingham, with a great sense of humour so I spent a good bit of the afternoon being entertained by his chat, along with other fun people who joined us from time to time.

Unusually for this time of year it was a really chilly afternoon so we were home again before it was dark.

What a great Saturday.
