The Thickness of Fog

Fog has two types of thickness. There's horizontal thickness, in other words, density. And there's vertical thickness, in other words, the depth of the layer of fog. Inversions are fickle things. You never know quite what you're going to get. Today the thickness was the wrong way around. Too deep and not dense enough. There wasn't enough pressure from above to flatten things out. Still, I'm not complaining about being able to get this shot today.

I needed a boost. That Christmas pressure is building and flattening me at the moment.
