A little colour
A dank winter's day - still with a fine mizzle, but somehow not very photogenic - just dreich. Ideal weather to spend the morning making apple chutney with the remaining apples from the garden. I popped out into the garden briefly to capture the last remaining splash of autumn colour!
I had planned to go into town in the afternoon to see a performance of Spark! in Cathedral Square, but found out that they had cancelled. The associated pop-up market had also only attracted four stalls, so in the end I stayed at home and sorted out a set of drawers filled with more art materials.
An evening trip to Waitrose was surprisingly pleasant - no crowds and everyone wearing masks. And despite all the gloom about supplies, there seemed to be plenty of everything available. I also stocked up a few basics and frozen veg just in case we end up going into isolation at any point over the Christmas period! We certainly won't starve...
