Dazzle

After a misty start, and a somewhat dog filled walk in the Meadows first thing (which meant Paisley was distracted and jumpy and wasn’t very relaxing), the sky cleared for a beautiful cold sunny day with gorgeous light bathing the streets. We decided to walk over to Bruntsfield via Marchmont to explore some little shops, have a delicious brunch in a very decorated Black Ivy (see extra). We laughed about our different approaches to living life in the moment or trying to pack as much as possible in each day (and often failing!), wrote lists and tried to get organised over brunch, and then were quite successful in ticking a few people off by getting presents.
Home and did some online shopping before heading to the Fort and Cameron Toll for food shopping and some more browsing….A was really annoyed she couldn’t not only get a refund but even exchange a pair of trousers at Primark without her receipt, but otherwise we did well and drove home in a beautiful sunset (extra)
Home and she started cleaning and reorganising the fridge and cupboards whilst I made supper and then we watched the Strictly final which went the way we expected between Rose and John.
