Carpe diem

I'm really trying to look  forward not back. .. and not dwell on the future either
I'm trying to let go of all the anxieties, so rid  myself of things that I no longer need
My beautiful car is going,  because it was hardly ever driven
Another box of good but never worn clothes is ready for the Cancer Research Shop
Dont we end up hoarding a lot of 'stuff' that is really ok but no longer needed?

The news is rather depressing at the moment..  I'm sure we ll have a lockdown after Christmas, which is why the next few days are so important..  to meet up with family and to meet up with friends .. lateral flow tests are negative and so we are off to  meet up with my brother and sis in law after 2 years. I feel a bit emotional tonight because I'm so looking forward to seeing them and who knows when the next time will be.

I've  also arranged to meet up with Flavia 13 and Fletch who is bathed and clean and fresh and ready .  I'm looking forward to that too.

This week I shall focus on one day at a time.

Stay safe and well everybody. Xxx
