Blowing in the wind
Today food shopping, writing the last of the Christmas cards, and wrapping a few presents for friends. Then I collected a friend from hospital, who had been admitted yesterday on his GP's advice, and took him to his home. He and his wife had given us dinner only last Sunday; I wasn't expecting to see them again so soon, but it was nice to be able to help them. Poor P has been unwell since having a heart attack last year. I am concerned about him and his lack of joined up medical care. He's my oldest Winchester friend, from when I came here nearly forty years ago.
Blip is of my winter jasmine just coming into flower.
