Warped

Finally got the loom warped! Anna arrived and after a bit of lunch we set too. It’s quite a process, the whole thing rotates and you have to wrap the yarn around as it goes. Then you have to try and even out the tension on all warp threads. Then the twining goes on, that’s the white cords. And then you can start weaving! I am beginning with some waste yarn to give it a firm foundation and that will be removed at the end, so it’s not going to be purple. Watch this space!
