Brilliant sunshine

This was the view from Musselburgh this morning looking across to Fife. The sun was shining like mad where we were - though it was very low in the sky - but I gather that much of the rest of the country was lost in thick fog. Fife certainly is in this picture.
We had a good time looking at the birds - wigeon, mallard, swans (awesome to see them fly upriver), oystercatchers, dunlin, redshank, curlews, black headed gulls, goldeneye , and almost certainly more that we couldn’t identify. And plenty of space to walk without getting too close to anyone.
