Fantastic cloud inversion!!!

Cockermouth has been in the mist and murk all day long...and it still is!

We walked up Sale Fell ( 5 miles away ), and we were soon in bright, warm sunshine!

The cloud inversion was absolutely fantastic, and widespread as far as we could see!

Marvellous for taking photos!

In the central photo you can see my shadow in a semicircular rainbow...a brocken spectre!
