Loulou Evening

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

Loulou came for a visit this evening. She thanked us profusely for having her over but the fact of the matter is we love having her here. 

She is like family, she' s so easy to be around. Plus she is kind and funny. And she brought biscuits.

"Oh," she said, taking a bite from one. "Those are... disappointing."

They were a bit gritty. But with tea or coffee, acceptable. 

She is looking so much better and happier. She apologised for not shaving her legs. "It's been so long, I forgot how often I used to shave them," she explained. 

"It's strange," she added. "My eyebrows and armpit hair hasn't come back so quickly. But my legs and pubes, they're having a party."

This sort of chat is why we love Loulou. 

She has been a great friend to Caro while I have been away. I won't ever forget that. She took Caro to her appointment with the rheumatologist and pointedly looked STRAIGHT AHEAD when Caro was getting examined. 

"Why are you doing that? I'm NOT naked," said Caro.

"Oh. Thank goodness," said Loulou, making eye contact again.

So tonight we laughed a lot about pubes, sex, food, hedgehogs and cats. We ordered delivery dinner and we watched "Cruella".

They both really enjoyed it. "Thank you for making me watch that," said Caro. 

"Thank April for making ME watch it," I replied. 

It was a lovely evening. I have really missed Loulou. I can't wait to do this again.
