Ben Vrackie

We went hillwalking today as the forecast was for good weather and sunshine. We went up Ben Vuirich, a Corbett just south of the Beinn a’ Ghlo hills. It was frosty in the glen, but much warmer up the hill as there was an inversion. There was virtually no wind and we walked in our base layers, with no hat or gloves; amazing for mid-December. The blip is Ben Vrackie as we approached the summit of the hill and the extra a late afternoon view of the central Cairngorms with Cairn Toul and Ben Macdui the prominent hills.

Best on black.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is muddy ice.
