Logs of laughs!

Today has been a day of two halves - bright and sunny this morning, followed by dull and cloudy this afternoon. I have had a few hours away from the children this afternoon. I went for a quick walk in Guernsey's version of a pine forest, Le Guet. Lots of the trees had been felled in the recent storms and many people were out collecting pine cones and stray twigs and branches.
Not many days left of the Easter holidays now but still lots of things to enjoy. Not least of which my 'surprise' birthday party on Saturday night. :-)
