Misty City

I have taken this view for Blip on a clear spring day when you can see the city skyscrapers. Not today with the mist. A fun chat and laugh in a cafe with some bike pals and then home to join the hunt for test kits. I did track some down so all set for the next few days. 

I enjoyed watching the last of the Portrait Artist series with the winner painting Nicola Benedetti. Wow, what an astonishingly good painting of her. I think that the young artist is going to be a star.

And the lid has now gone back on the tin of Quality Street.

Sad news of the passing today of a childhood friend of Mrs S. They met when they were 11, just starting at Grammar school. She was lovely and had been suffering for many years. So it was a release but still very somber. Condolences to her large family.
