Around this time

of the year I always see the swans come back to this place…as I was just about to walk in their direction I saw that they were already flying towards me...

When I came home I received a sad message ..it came with a Christmas card from one of my old neighbors..when I opened the card there was a letter in it ...and then I actually knew something was wrong ...her husband was told in June that he had ALS and died of this in October ...I know it is a terrible disease but did not know that it could go so fast ...Even though we didn't have that much contact anymore, this touches you…
