Flower surprise.

Woke to a glorious sunrise, and slight frosty morning.
The plumbers came back to make a slight adjustment to the bathroom, and then we went out for a walk across the moor to the pond.
The water wasn’t frozen, and there were quite a few mallards and moorhens.
All came over to great us, but we hadn’t anything for them.
It was perfect walking weather and actually felt quite mild.
Stopped to chat with one or two neighbours and so by the time we got back it was nearly 1pm.

I noticed the climbing rose flowering on the fence and then spotted the marigold which has started to flower again. Probably because of the mild weather we have had lately.
Both perfect for Flower Friday.

Thank you for all your encouraging comments yesterday. Mr C was upset because he knew I would be disappointed, but we certainly did the right thing, and was grateful of your support.
