First Sail of the Season!

After serving breakfast at the chambre d'hotes in the vines this morning set off to Treves to get the cottage ready for visitors from the States this evening. In between managed to get out on the river for a quick sail on Irma the tender to La Sterne. La Sterne is coming out of the water for a few repairs soon so we had to go and take off all the bedding, cushions, kitchen equipment, lanterns, bottles of wine ;) quite a job in itself. So it was a joy to get out on the open water in the little wooden barque. The Loire is a place you can forget all your cares and just marvel at the glorious scenery and watery landscape.
