Berlin 3- East Side Gallery

The East Side Gallery is a long stretch of murals painted onto, I think, the longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall. Artists were commissioned to create an image expressing their feelings about the wall, and its collapse as a way to commemorate what happened! The images range from this piece of graffiti to intricate political themed pictures and designs including a mural of a kiss between Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev and his East German counterpart Erich Honecke ! The whole gallery is such a striking sight and shows you the impact that the wall had both on the landscape and on people's lives! If ever in Berlin worth a visit!!
