at the crossroads, kirkpatrick durham... actually well beyond it i fear, almost as far as it is beyond the pale... but when i first came here there were a couple of pubs and shops, the last of them gone three or four years before this arrival, now there's a trip down to springholm to the shop there, if you're before 6pm otherwise it's off to castle douglas or dumfries... the place become a satellite village, or maybe a set awaiting a film crew for something with werewolves and ghoulish goings on....
