Botanic Gardens.

We went to the Botanic Gardens today.

On the way down I put some Christmas music on.  It had the funniest version of Jingle Bells, I've ever heard.  The girls were in hysterics over it.

And they also liked the song, Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer!

By the time we got to the gardens, it was already getting quite warm.

The girls had a look around all their favourite places.

They sat and looked at the water for ages, spotting all the different birds.

We went to the playground.

Ate ice cream.  They didn't have Isabella's favourite, coffee ice cream, so she had bubble gum.  And got a nice blue tongue too.

Found the padlocks on the bridges, there seemed to be more this time.

Watched the fountains, played with the water.

Went back to the park.

Went to the toilet, where they insisted I sing Sing A Song Of Sixpence, whilst they did what they needed to do!

We left at about midday, as we thought there might be a storm. ( It did arrive after we got home).

Both girls fell asleep in the car on the way home.

But we got the pool out and that soon livened them up.

(learnt today, never put the camera near the cold drinks!  The lens kept steaming up).
