Today was a lovely but very long day. We went to Mum’s oldest friend’s 90th birthday lunch. Suffice it to say that Mum was not in a very good place mentally …quite muddled and aware of it and that combined with being hard of hearing meant there was a lot of the same ‘ who is that ? ‘ conversation going on. She was pretty low in mood by the time we got home. It’s so hard to watch :( 
I had also been asked to take family photos - quite a nerve wracking responsibility but actually they turned out ok. The blip is E herself  listening to her son in law giving the toast :)
