On guard...

At every little or big temple are fierce-some looking statues on guard. Generally they are dressed with poleng fabric (the black and white checked fabric). At every obvious or obscure statue (or even just shop entrance) you'll see little woven baskets with offerings of flowers or food.

Didn't do too much today, our bodies feel a little climate shock, coming from the winter straight into the warmth and humidity of the tropics. Pippa is also finding the attention of the various street sellers and taxi drivers a lit overwhelming. Thank goodness for the water (sea or pool) - the girls would just love to spend all day on it!
