Wood on Wednesday
I have a place "Up North" where I've been buying firewood, not to burn, but to wood-burn on. It still looks rustic, but they make a nice fairly-clean cut on it, so that it doesn't soak up the paint.
This is a large-mouth bass that is popular in Michigan waters. It is wood-burned and painted on.
The person that buys this gets a two-fer. I wood-burned on the back of it also, and that picture is in my extras. I can't decide whether to paint it or leave it as is.
It measures 18.5 long, and 8.5 inches high.
