Grey on grey!

Took my first walk along the front since I have been back today and it was fresh and grey! Wide Wednesday showed the grey ship against the grey sea and only a sliver of light on the horizon however there were some small patches of blue earlier. Had the happy news that I had a negative pcr test so no COVID but I shall still do a lateral flow each day till Sunday! Church carol service on Sunday evening hopefully not cancelled!

Went to the Cumberland centre minor injuries unit to get my hand checked and they have replaced the plaster with a simple dressing as it was too late to stitch it so It will heal by secondary intention leaving a scar, always interesting! They did say the wound looked clean and was healing nicely after just one day. Fortunately it is my left hand and I am right handed. one of the nurses was someone I had worked with at Derriford and she would like to recruit me for the occasional shift at the Cumberland as they are struggling when staff go off sick or get COVID!
