A Dreary Day

There are not many festive things in my space to photograph; I cannot get to the attic to retrieve decorations, and I don't think I would even if I could! So the Wide Angle shot out my back patio door seems appropriate for today.

I was very grateful for a call from my son this morning; he is doing very well as he waits for his surgery to be rescheduled. We talked about some business paperwork that needs to be done before the end of the year if he comes out of the surgery "foggy." That is the worst result he is willing to think about right now. The surgery is scheduled for 3 PM today, which is two and a half hours from now....so again, we wait.
