The old oak tree

I had a large surprise today. I had not heard from Adrian for a couple of weeks and he had not replied my two messages yesterday, ulike him. At 11 o'clock I had a call from Adrian and he asked if we could eat taco together. At facetime, in the midle of the night, I asked (Adrian is staying in LA). No, I am in Oslo, he said. Surprise! Surprise!
Now I got the explanation why Julian asked me for at walk yesterday. Their plan was that Adrian should show up at the walk, but Adrian was so tired after the long flight, that Julian wasn't able to wake him up. I thought it was so strange that Julian wanted to take a walk yesterday, in fog, dark and drizzle, but now I understand that it wasn't because he missed his mother ;))
