Ups and downs

We (Nell, Dad, and myself but no Dusty) went out into the forest today. It's straight off the campsite, which is good, but it’s arduous walking in deep sand and very much hard work, up and down the ancient sand dunes.

We exited the forest, crossed the road and walked down to and along the lagoon before returning through the town. Just over 10 Km in total, which took us almost 3 hours, what with water stops, photo stops, and sniffing stops. Nell can't move very quickly these days.

I was surprised to find out that I am still far fitter than I was when we first came here.

Off again tomorrow. I think we are going to another Orbitur campsite at Gala, one more old haunt.
