You’re not here!

This was the photo and message I received at 11-15 this morning. It’s the plaque outside my house and indeed I wasn’t home ( getting a Christmas manicure) The surprise was the caller was a very old friend who I knew in my childhood and adolescence, yet haven’t seen since I was 18. We’ve kept in touch but over the years have never met up. I’ve lived overseas , they live in Cornwall, but whenever I’ve been to Cornwall not synchronised :(
Today they were on their way to Warwickshire, and popped in on the off chance with no warning. Sod’s law I’m out of course !!
Not this time… maybe in 2022
