Weve had a nig expensive machine lying on the floor of our office for a few weeks, so yesterday we took steps to get it going.

Rack installed, machines installed in rack; and today we started the migration. For tech geeks, we're running VMWare and are virtualising all the old machines you see on the right, into one bight shiny new machine on the left. Plus, we're moving our exchange/email service into the cloud, using Office 365.

So some pretty big changes. We'll have fewer machines, less spaghetti, and hopefully considerably more resilience against natural or manmade disasters. Not that we're about to have another, we would hope!
