Orca passing by....

Sitting at the table doing important stuff I picked up the binoculars to identify a passing vessel and there in my view was the unmistakable fin of an Orca. Connie and I whipped the cover off the boat and went Orca spotting. We found them in spite of the weather  ( see Extra) and scored a few shots like this. Didn't get too close because the pod included a calf or two and they were just idling along. Impressive creatures though.
