Morning view

My view as I sit in bed with a cup of tea in the morning. This used to be a weekend treat but since the start of the pandemic, when I was waking up so early every day, it’s become a habit and it’s how I start every day. Which usually makes the time between when I eventually get out of bed and when I start work a bit of a rush, particularly on days when I go into campus or go for a walk before working from home. Hey ho - I still like to have a cup of tea in bed, upload my blip for the day before, and catch up on the news before starting the day properly.

And one day I’ll have a tidy bedroom!
