Cruising Loudoun Street

Spotted driving past the BBQ place near the corner with Market Street: a friendly Santa.

D. and I just came back inside from trying to spot meteors from Gemini. I  might have seen some, but it might've been from squinting. Still, we found the right place in the sky and had a nice chat about meteors and comets and asteroids, and then zipped back into the warm house and watched a live telescope show on the laptop instead. 

Poor D. is still home from school with his cold. He tested negative for Covid and doesn't feel too bad...but don't think the school would want him sitting in class coughing away. There are just three days til winter break, so he'll have quite a bit to catch up.
