I noticed a tiny hummingbird was sleeping in my plant enclosure this morning; he has the perfect setup: warm, protected, and plenty of nectar. I may move my little birdbath in there for water. I took this photo with my phone through the Family room window...not the best shot.

My son's surgery has not happened yet today, and now it is almost 8 PM...the operating room has not been available...too many emergencies have arrived that took precedence. We don't know if it will still happen tonight or not. Waiting is not easy, and of course, our son is in there alone...no one can be in there with him!!! Darn Covid.  UPDATE: surgery is canceled for tonight. We have no idea what that means for rescheduling.
