Our Beautiful Columbia Gorge

Yesterday everything was socked in, but today we awoke to blue skies and scattered clouds. We drove home on the Washington side of the river, and stopped to take this picture out the car window. We had such a good time even though we were only gone one day,  and it was so much fun to see the lodge all festively decorated for Christmas. 
Grateful for…time with our friends and another happy birthday for my husband, who turned 83 and just finished skiing in Colorado for a week!
