Snow!

We woke up this morning to about an inch of snow and glorious clear blue skies! It's amazing what the blue sky will do for one's mood. I had an early appointment with the dentist to fix the crown that fell off of the implant yesterday, so had to leave early...I didn't have much time to look at the garden. But the sun had just hit the remaining leaves on the Coral Bark Maple which of course were snowy and icy. So I managed to grab a couple of photos and then fought the traffic to the east side of Portland. Tooth fixed, I got home and went for a nice long walk, enjoying every minute of sun.

I spent the afternoon at my desk, doing botanical garden work. And I have a class (virtual) in a short while...did I tell you that I'm studying flower essences? I'm fascinated by them. If you're interested: Alaskan Essences


The snow is mostly melted now and we'll be back to rain tomorrow!
